With the termination of MWC 2020, multiple launches were postponed. One of those was vivo's exciting looking APEX 2020 concept phone which has now gotten a new release date - February 28. The device will be introduced via an online launch event on and vivo shared a couple of teaser to stir the hype before the event.
The APEX line has served as a tech showcase for the past two years and the latest device will also follow in that line. The posters give us a sneak-peek at the front and back of the device which will again employ a port-less design.
The front will house a 6.45-inch screen with an extreme 120° curve on both sides. The panel is also believed to come with a 120Hz refresh rate while the sides will feature second-generation pressure-sensitive on-screen buttons.
Taking a look around the back we see a circular camera bulge with two main sensors. The top module appears to be a periscope which is rumored to bring up to 7.5x optical zoom while the bottom cam is expected to bring a 48MP sensor with gimbal-like stabilization. Given the fast-approaching launch date, we should see more clues pop up in the coming days.
