Today we are meeting one of the smallest rugged phones ever - the Ulefone Armor Mini 20T Pro. It is a compact phone with a 4.7-inch screen, a FLIR thermal camera, and a large battery.
But looks can be deceiving - this Armor Mini 20T Pro is 2.5cm thick! It is, of course, IP68/IP69K/MIL-STD-810H certified for all sorts of hazards - from the standard dust and water proofing all the way to shock and drop resistance.
The Armod Mini 20T Pro features a 4.7-inch 720p display with Gorilla Glass Victus protection and it runs on the Dimensity 6300 5G chip with 8GB RAM.
The phone has a 50MP main camera and a 32MP selfie shooter. There is a FLIR thermal camera on the back and a flashlight function powered by 130 LEDs which output 500 lumens. The flash includes blue and red LEDs in addition to the white ones.
There is also an Armor Mini 20 Pro version of this smartphone, which has a Night Vision camera instead of a FLIR one.
The Armor Mini 20T Pro has a 6,200mAh battery with up to 33W wired charging support. Ulefone has also added 15W wireless charging and reversed wireless charging options.
Some other nice quirks you can find on this Armor Mini 20T Pro - wireless FM radio, a microSD slot, an audio jack and a barometer sensor.
The Armor Mini 20T Pro seems like a solid smartphone, quite literally, too. We sort of expected an even larger capacity battery inside this thick body even though this is not a Power Armor device. But let's discuss this again after our battery life test has been completed.
The Ulefone Armor Mini 20T Pro ships in a particularly large retail box. It contains a 33W USB-C charger, a USB-C cable, a lanyard, and a tempered glass protector (there's a plastic one already applied on the phone).
There isn't a protective case in the box, but you really don't need one with a rugged phone, do you?
There's an optional Case Kit with a multi-purpose holder that lets you wear the Armor Mini 20T Pro as a body camera. It contains a back panel with a placeholder for the said clip.
Seems like while being a thick phone similar to the Atom it has a damn good balance as well
Being the entire reason why I think Ulefone puts too much good designs but only into wasted for being too low specs like only 8GB RAM with even less than 50W charging. Armor 23 Ultra is almost the only time when Ulefone finds perfect balance between ...
