Realme Android

The Realme Note 50 is on its way, and it will not be alone. The company has big plans for the series with three phones coming by the end of the year and a sales goal of 10 million units.

Francis Wong, CEO of Realme Europe and Global Marketing Director revealed the ambitious plans and shed some more light on the availability of the company's new series.

The first Realme Note smartphone will be launched in the Philippines on January 23, and there will be two more joining it in the next couple of months.

Realme's Note lineup will be plugging the sub-$100/€100 hole in the company's portfolio. That is to say it will be positioned lower than other makers' Note series, which are typically mid-range affairs. The Realme Note phones will be rolling to just about every market where the company does business over the next couple of years.

The notable exception is India, where Realme believes it has a rich enough portfolio. The other one is China, where Realme is an online-first brand. Realme expect the Note series to be mainly purchased by people who seek physical hands-on experience before purchase.

The aim is to sell 10 million units in 2024 alone. The company is confident the superior build quality of its Note series will help it acheve that - it promises better designs and higher quality materials than the competition.

Realme also claims it will offer superior quality control - a traditional pain point for entry-level devices - and better after-sales support. While we got no specifics on the length of software support, Realme said it will aim to offer longer warranties and more updates compared with direct rivals.

even xiaomi, samsung, and infinix uses the note moniker pretty well. realme is the one that messed up. they are basically rebranding C51 and call it a day.
