Here's what you need to do. First, get your phone or phones from the carrier, paying sales tax and any applicable down payment. Then register your purchase on this special website until February 21, by entering your device information and uploading your receipt.

After your entry has been confirmed, you will receive a single-use code you can enter on Netflix's special offers page. Keep in mind that the code may take 4-6 weeks to arrive after you've submitted your data. Also note that you must use the code to register with Netflix and redeem your free year until March 31.
