T-Mobile Android Announcement

Following up last year's Revvl and Revvl Plus, T-Mobile today unveiled a couple of new own-brand Android-powered smartphones - the Revvl 2 and Revvl 2 Plus.

The smaller model comes with a 5.5-inch 720x1440 touchscreen, a 13 MP main camera with LED flash, an 8 MP front-facing shooter, and a 3,000 mAh battery.

T-Mobile Revvl 2

At the helm is MediaTek's MT6739 chipset (with a 1.5 GHz quad-core Cortex-A53 CPU), paired with 2GB of RAM and 32GB of expandable storage. The Revvl has IP52 water and dust resistance (so not much), facial recognition, a fingerprint reader on the back, and support for Cat.4 LTE.

It will cost you $168, or 24 monthly installments of $7. For a limited time, customers who add a line will be able to get it for free after 24 monthly bill credits.

The Revvl 2 Plus steps up to a 6-inch 1080x2160 display, a 2.5 GHz octa-core processor, 3GB of RAM, and a 12 MP + 2 MP dual rear camera setup. The front 8 MP snapper has a LED flash too. The bigger handset has a beefy 4,000 mAh battery and Cat.6 LTE, as well as the same 32GB of storage as its smaller sibling - and the IP52 rating too. Both phones run Android 8.1 Oreo.

T-Mobile Revvl 2 Plus

The Revvl 2 Plus is priced at $252, or 24 monthly installments of $10.50. The initial limited time deal will offer it for just $3.50 per month after bill credits to T-Mobile customers who add a line.

The T-Mobile Revvl 2 and Revvl 2 Plus will be available from the carrier on November 16.
