Oppo Android

The Oppo F17 Pro will have the “sleekest design of 2020” says the company, pointing at the phone’s slender 7.48 mm, 164g body. Sleekness aside, F17’s ambition is to be the best phone for portrait photography.

The Oppo F17 Pro will boast a 48 MP main cam, 6.43'' AMOLED display and 30W VOOC charging

It will have six cameras total, four on the back and two on the front, all of them backed by all-new AI algorithms to process images in varying conditions. AI Super Clear Portrait will enhance the clarity of facial features, AI Super Night Portrait is self explanatory and there’s also AI Color Portrait that separates the subject from the background with the use of color.

The quad camera on the back features a 48MP main module while the 16MP selfie camera is joined by a 2MP depth sensor to create Dual Lens Bokeh. Here are a couple of promo videos that offer a peak at the F17 Pro.

The first one mentions the cameras, but also reveals a 6.43” Super AMOLED along with 30 W VOOC Flash charge support:

The second video focuses more on the thickness – or should we say thinness – of the phone:

The Oppo F17 Pro will launch in India in early September, the company is still keeping mum on the exact date. The phone will cost under INR 25,000.
