The Tecno Spark 20 Pro stands out as one of the best Android smartphones in its price range. After using the device for a while, I can confidently say it offers exceptional value for money.
Performance
At the heart of the Spark 20 Pro is the MediaTek Helio G99 chipset, built on a 6nm process. This octa-core processor, combined with the Mali-G57 MC2 GPU, delivers impressive performance for a budget device. In AnTuTu Benchmark tests, the Helio G99 has achieved scores around 420,000 points, placing it comfortably ahead of many competitors in its class.
This performance translates to smooth day-to-day usage, with apps launching quickly and multitasking handled efficiently. For gaming, the Spark 20 Pro handles medium graphics settings with ease. Titles like PUBG Mobile run at approximately 46 FPS on low settings, and Call of Duty: Mobile achieves around 43 FPS on ultra settings, providing a satisfying gaming experience for casual gamers.
Display
The device features a 6.8-inch Full HD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate. This high refresh rate ensures smooth scrolling and an overall fluid user experience, which is particularly impressive at this price point.
Camera
Equipped with a 108MP main camera, the Spark 20 Pro captures detailed and vibrant photos in well-lit conditions. Video recording capabilities include 1440p (2K) at 30fps and 1080p (Full HD) at 60fps, offering versatility for content creators and casual users alike.
Battery Life
The 5,000mAh battery provides excellent endurance, easily lasting a full day with moderate to heavy use. Even with the 120Hz refresh rate enabled, users can expect reliable battery performance. The included 33W fast charger replenishes the battery swiftly, reaching a full charge in approximately an hour, minimizing downtime.
Design and Build
The Spark 20 Pro boasts a sleek and modern design with a solid build quality that belies its budget status. The side-mounted fingerprint sensor is both convenient and responsive, allowing for quick and secure unlocking.
Conclusion
The Tecno Spark 20 Pro delivers a premium feel and performance without the premium price tag. Its combination of a high-refresh-rate display, capable processor, impressive camera system, and long-lasting battery makes it a standout choice in the budget smartphone market.

Sunshine , 04 May 2025My finger prints just stop working suddenly, what can I do to restore it back?Wipe your fingers and fingerprint sensor if its greasy or wet, if it still doesn't work check your settings and do the fingerprint check (the one that tests and highlights which finger you assigned) if it doesn't light up then its probably broken
This phone is seriously underrated at this price
Helio g99 that some people spend more money on getting from other brands
Camera is surprisingly good

the phone boosts the bass of the output sound signal quite a lot (even over Bluetooth, the bass quite literally overpowers the mids and highs too much)

No need , 26 Jan 2025Please how is the camera quality and battery life I'm planning on getting the phone.
battery life is about 12 hours if you check your phone regularly, only 5 if you're gaming intensely from 100%.
camera is great and detailed for such an affordable phone like this, but sometimes color reproduction just seems a Bit too saturated. Wide aperture gives good depth in photos! of course you get the occasional bad/blurry picture, as expected by the price.
It's also good enough in low-light! But since it works good in low light conditions, even in normal mode!
I don't really use the Night mode since it makes the photos look HORRIBLY over sharpened. It makes your low-light photos look like AI slop. It does do a good job at processing in this mode though. There's no built in stabilizer, but you can record in 60fps in 1080p.
In video mode:
-Front cam in 30FPS performs above expected for this price surprisingly, unfortunately still no stabiliser too. Okay for low-light videos. Big differences in camera exposure in 60FPS, and is BELOW AVERAGE even in well-lit rooms for this setting.
-Rear cam in 30FPS has PD autofocus that's slightly slow, but it can capture detailed videos that also has that same good depth. In 60FPS, the exposure changes are less noticeable, but suffers in low light in this setting. Autofocus is slower than before and can't really seem to focus for farther objects.
There's a good real-time bokeh mode that works on people only if they're facing the camera, but not away from it. There's also a beauty mode that I haven't tried yet, but both of these features are on both the rear and front cam.
Google Photos' editor's stabiliser feature works well if you want stabilization, although 30FPS stabilized videos look jittery compared to 60FPS with all its cons.
Dual video is a nice addition to this phone, but you only get it after updating to the first patch.
Pro mode also is a setting here, but don't expect it to be ANYWHERE near DSLR quality..
The macro lens is not the best, slightly low-res honestly, but it's nice that they still included it on here
ps: ignore the Mt404 guy reacting to every message with those emojis. They're there on every gsmarena page of phones made in China, they're a troll
tgekenn, 27 Dec 2024waiting for mt404 to actually put a comment on these things instead of just reacting to people... morePlease how is the camera quality and battery life I'm planning on getting the phone.
Thanks guys, I'll try to find the pro and get some extra money if it's not too expensive where I live
