Tecno Camon 30 5G and Camon 30 Premier launched in India

The Tecno Camon 30 5G and Camon 30 Premier unveiled during MWC 2024 debuted today in India. The Camon 30 5G comes in 8GB/256GB and 12GB/256GB variants priced at INR22,999 ($275/€255) and INR26,999 ($325/€300), respectively, whereas the Camon 30 Premier is offered in a single 12GB/512GB configuration that costs INR39,999 ($480/€440). Both smartphones will go on sale in India starting May 23.

The Tecno Camon 30 5G is powered by the Dimensity 7020 SoC and sports a 6.78" 120Hz FullHD+ AMOLED screen. The smartphone is fueled by a 5,000 mAh battery with 70W charging support and features three cameras - 50MP primary, 2MP depth, and 50MP selfie.

The Tecno Camon 30 Premier, on the other hand, has the Dimensity 8200 Ultimate chip at the helm with a 5,000 mAh battery under the hood supporting 70W charging. The smartphone packs a 6.77" 120Hz 1,264-pixel LTPO AMOLED screen and sports four 50MP cameras - primary, ultrawide, periscope telephoto, and selfie.

The Tecno Camon 30 5G and Camon 30 Premier run Android 14-based HiOS 14 out of the box and will be upgraded to Android 15 and Android 16. The smartphones will also receive three years of security updates.
