Its almost 1 year the battery is not working .in half hr it gets switch off lot of pblm

I am using this phone from past 1 year and now i think the best place for this phone is dustbin as all the applications are running very slow in this the battery condition is horrible. it takes more than 5 minutes to open a pic from the gallery.
