Had this for over 6 years. It is now great for when on treadmill or just watching youtube.
The sound and picture was years ahead of most others.
With LTE great for travelling.
Not my main device but it has lasted well.
My big disappointment is that there was no follow-up model

Serg, 29 Jun 2022Been working well for me for almost 7 years, it's a pity that there are no new os updates... moreMy experience was poor due to a cracked screen issue early on that was repaired after much argument. I later learned there was a battery expansion problem after the first charge! But now in 2022 I'm rejuvenating the thing as a hiking/travel device due to the unbeatable lightweight, waterproofing and the KB making it fully useful.

Also, Samsung and Apple have almost whole market.
Most buy low end tablets.
Sony never had one, only flagships.

Anonymous, 08 Jul 2020What Android version is this on, and how is its gaming performance? As you know it has a strong snapdragon 810 so it can easily run high-end games such as pubg and fortnite

Had (recently gave this to my wife) this tablet for almost 6 years. No problem. Been comparing this tablet to other new tablets, and still no one beats the Z4 Tab. Except for newer Android version support. I wish Sony will create a new tablet similar to this, 8 inch size, with newer features.
