manul, 18 Jun 2023Gets super hot and only because you're listening to music and browsing a website.I think you got a fake one dude. Mine is completely fine and can even handle heavy games with high settings, although the phone's battery is not that durable. Sony XZ1 has an aluminum frame to reduce it's risks of getting hot

After 10 months, Samsung A73 died when a drop of water went inside accidentally, but the Xperia XZ1 I used to shoot videos of waves in the sea, even the iPhone 12 Pro temporarily went to comma stage for 2 days when the water went inside ) XZ1 is one of the greatest phone ever made by Sony in the past years

Clean it with a piece of cloth, maybe that is all it takes. It was with mine.

after 5 years of using this phone it is still great. no lag, no heat... cameras are average , but not so bad.

I'm considering buying this phone in 2023. I would like to ask if anyone here could comment about the pixel response times of the LCD panel? Is there any visible ghosting trails and smearing whilst scrolling text on a dark background, eg. scrolling the YouTube app with dark theme enabled?
