Its has a big bezel but if it has a fuction, why not?
Anonymous, 21 Aug 2017Why the heck do companies insist on using protruding cameras? Pass.This one's different. The sensor is 1/2.3" - way larger than most competing flagships including the ones on the Galaxy S and Note 8 devices this year.
It also has an embedded DRAM into the middle of the sensor, which adds up to the thickness of the device, which allows the crazy super slow motion @960fps, 5x faster full sensor readout, anti-rolling shutter effect, and predictive capture - none of which could be found on any other non-Xperia devices.
I also would've preferred it be thicker with larger battery and completely flush back camera, but it's not as much of an issue as on other devices.

When something's not broken, why fix it?
If you want something new, look at the technology inside, not the looks outside.

"Why the boxy design over and over?" ~ if you want a rounded phone, don't buy Xperia. Go buy the other brand.
"Why the thick bezels in 2017?" ~ if you want a bezeless phone, don't buy Xperia. Go buy the other brand.

Sony Xperia is backdated.I don't perceive that why Sony doesn't change their design as galaxy s8,iphone 8.I was a biggest fan of Sony Xperia but not now.Rip Xperi.

What happen to the xperia ARC days? or walkman phone days? they used to be much much better. whats the point of changing the Z to X? its still the same. Come up with something creative and drop the prices Sony.. I wonder how many phones you sell per year, its pathetic. why bother making cellphones anymore if you are lazy to design it properly. Even the chinese phones look way better. Huawei and Xiaomi has surpassed you.
