Realy disapointing ... compact series should be the smaller version of the flagship in the series as was first one designed ... the "improvment" of the compact series is more like a downgrade if u compare with Xperia Z5 Compact ... hopeing the specs ar wrong

This looks like what the G4 Play (or E3) should have been, a powerful compact device.
Let's wait for the release to see if this phone is as good as these specs shows it.

Wait.... for some time compacts were, well... compact versions of flagship with less ram, lower screen resolution and smaller screen but same chip and, pretty much, everything else. And now we get X compact with no SD 820 ??? Thats cold Sony, really cold. I guess i will go for Xperia X. Its not flaghip but, at least, its better than this.

I'd rather have an extra day of battery life than a DPI so high I can't even see the difference.

a 4 inch screen would be a blessing (which i doubt will be the case)
