When I got this phone it had serious issues from the outset. Camera didn't work so went in and after being sent back many times I was given a refurbished phone. I was without a phone for most of first six months of my contract. This has been problematic to this day. It will not take a charge at all now so for business purposes has been a nightmare and again in without a phone.. Paid for it on contract but has been a dudd from outset till end of contract and beyond.

The same experience I have been facing. The camera quality is very poor. I bought this one for the name of Sony. But very disappointed. As compared to other phone with the same features, this is very expensive.

Like it quite a lot, the battery life could be better. Only worked out the second sim slot did NOT work after warrenty was over. Otherwise it is a great phone.

This is the worst phone I had ever purchased. Battery failure, heating problem, just LTE no VOLTE. When you go to the service center they asked you to change its parts and demands huge sum of money. Worst experience with Sony ever and not recommend anyone to go for Sony products.

Almost 3 years now and the phone is dying on me. Abnormal shutdowns when the battery hits 25-30%. Extreme heating while browsing the internet. I have stopped playing couple of weeks ago, the only game I had installed on my phone for the past 1 year - FIFA Mobile. Battery life - the less said the better. The battery won't charge properly since last couple of weeks.
The phone is not bad at all. It ran beautifully for the initial 1 & half year but then it was all downhill from there. Went to do underwater photography once in 2016. My friends made full use of the water proofing of this phone that day. Have been a Sony fan, but I couldn't convince myself to upgrade to another Sony phone.
I was waiting for a good midrange device as I didn't want to splash 30k+ INR on a device which I will be using moderately (The average usage for Social Media - FB, IG, WA; few calls, couple of YT videos, few songs, and an hour of gaming). The Nokia 7+ came around. Felt it was a bit overpriced. Luckily I got a 15% discount coupon from Nokia + 5% cashback effectively making it 21k INR for the 7+. And for that price I think it is a steal. Waiting for the 7+ to be delivered today!

It's swollen and the heat is very high, where all of a sudden, it started updating all the applications last night. Is there any remedy to fix this problem? Or Changing the phone is the only option?

Bought this model 2 years ago, 8GB internal is horrible as apps will automatically upgrade and eat up lot of space. The battery swollen a little bit and it's like applying salt on wounds, and finally this device easily built up heat like a heater.
