Sony don't always over prse there handsets.
For example a 'Sony Xperia Z' is cheaper than a 'Samsung Galaxy S3 4G' (in New Zealand)and the specifications are much better than the 'Samsung Galaxy S3 4G'.

The official white papers of xperia L say that the RAM is 1GB.

It's GREAT but I already foresee the problem with this smartphone: here in Brazil the price will be so abusive we'll only be able to purchase it 1 year after the launch at minimum.

AnonD-123936, 18 Mar 2013An good alternative to the Xperia U, What attracted me to the Xperia U was its price! nothing ... moreIndeed, that is the biggest weapon this phone may have against the competitors.
I also shared the same interest over Xperia U, but never went ahead with the purchase due to the atrocious SAR levels (in my region/band). The fact Sony latter dumped any firmware support for it only reaffirmed that skipping that phone was the right thing to do.
I hope they have done their homework and this time around they present something decent in those two regards. If they do then the only reason for this phone not be a success is the "inertia"/bad reputation with the previous phones.
