Mine is still working fine, implying that the build quality is very good.
Now it's still able to play a 360p video for about 2 hours before running out of battery. Note that the battery has never been replaced since I bought the phone.
It's able to run 720p h264 video flawlessly, but it will struggle with 1080p.
It's sad to be stuck with android 4 (KitKat) though. The RAM is also probably to small to run any recent application, as application becomes more RAM demanding recently.
It's also stuck with older version of web browser, the number of website that it can open is decreasing quickly.
Nevertheless, I still used it a lot to watch video, reading PDF, and playing old games.

My smartphone broke, so I went back to my old Xperia E1 after 5 years... And the battery is still holding charge very well! This is a great backup phone.

I just got a second hand E1 and tried to watch some videos but the youtube app can't even start no matter what I tried (installing old apk, but newer than the preinstalled etc). The watch on the from screen still warks fine, hope the greedy lil capitalist men don't disable it too in a few months. This old phone are useless even for $1 in a world full of greeed. The phone itself is gorgous and would work many more years if the apps haven't been made obsolete on purpose.

Great phone, if only it could get a custom rom to upgrade its OS then I would have never replaced it.

For me it would be great if it had minimum 100mb more ram so it will not slow. storage i can use sd card and for me CPU and GPU ARE good.
because i do not need it. I can use my pc instead.

Not a bad little phone, I bought one at Cash Generator in Halifax for £9.99p (Secondhand of course) but at that price, I'm not complaining. It came with the box and charger, full working order and not a scratch on it. For the price I paid it was a bargain. Full working order.
