Sony Android

The Sony Xperia 5 V unveiled earlier this month recently went on sale in Europe, but there were questions about its availability in the US. Well, Sony has confirmed that the Xperia 5 V won't come to the US - at least not this year.

In a statement to Android Police, Sony said it "will not [be] carrying the Xperia 5 V in the North American market this year. We want to focus on our flagship Xperia 1 V." That statement leaves room for interpretation since it suggests the Xperia 5 V could still come to the US in 2024.

If that's the case, it would be quite late for Sony to begin selling the Xperia 5 V in the US since the competition might have already launched their latest flagships, likely powered by the upcoming Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC.

We'll have to wait to see if Sony launches the Xperia 5 V in 2024 or skips it. In the meantime, you can read our Sony Xperia 5 V review if you live in Europe and plan to buy it. We also have a video review, which is attached below.

I think its more like you've never had anything with a better display. If you compare the same generation Samsung or Apple phones you'd see that the screen is higher quality on the Samsung and Apple. I mean this is literally proven in revie...

I think Sony Mobile should focus on making a single High-End or "Super High-End" device (something close to the Xperia Pro-I). Paying more for the best device that a top brand makes (in this case, Sony) would be justifiable. For example...
