The Sony Xperia 5 II that was announced in September 2020 with Android 10 picked up the Android 11 update last January, and over a year later, it's receiving the stable Android 12 update.
The update comes with firmware version 58.2.A.0.899 and requires a download of about 1,000MB. It's seeding for units with model numbers XQ-AS52 (Russia and Europe), XQ-AS72 (Asia), and XQ-AS62 (US).
If you haven't received the Android 12 update on your Sony Xperia 5 II yet, you can check for it manually by navigating to its Settings > Software update menu.
