Neom, 19 Dec 2025Guys, does this phone have the same green lines issues like 5 mark iv? i don't really min... morefor what it's worth, i have not experienced that sort of issue / basically Screen death like that. (of having some error line appear across the entire Display).
about 2.5yr of Device use so far. i haven't done anything special with usage behavior as far as the Display goes.
i have even (unintentionally, oops) left the Device sitting on mixed largely static scenes for Hours at a time once in a while.
however, there has been a little bit of a green tinge that built up at the edges of the Screen when displaying dark grays. just dark grays. i guess that's probably an odd form of OLED burn. it doesn't really impact normal use though.

I bought it ... moreI believe the Sony Xperia 1 IV does support VoLTE (Voice over LTE), but it may not be enabled by default or may require specific settings or network conditions to be activated. Did you get it working???

Yes, they may not be the best phone manufacturers in the market. but in today's fierce competition, can you say which company make the best phone??
3% market share in Japan doesn't mean they're at the bottom scraping the crumbs.
You're missing the bigger picture. Sony manufactured the phone's parts & components for their competitors. They made the best quality Display unit, Camera Sensor, down to the integrated circuit and boards.
That's why they're still in the game, Thriving.
Unlike LG meeting their miserable end.
I say Sony's did really well, still in a relevant position for years to come.
Sony made good products,
