Got Asus zenphone 8 currently. Still like the notch less Sony design better but phones are too tall for me. I hope Sony release a notch less phone but with shorter height. Don't mind phone getting thicker

Andy, 03 Nov 2023Hi mate, are you able to elaborate further about your experience, i.e. the slowness (or lags) ... moreIt's taking a hit since it's priced close to the likes of Poco F5 with SD7+ G2. Except that one didn't have microsd card slot which I want. And probably cut corners elsewhere to get to that cheap price.
The 10 V also made the mistake of recycling the SD695. Reminds me of Samsung repeatedly throwing out Exynos 9611 phones back in the day.

For being it's price I was expecting a decent chipset the camera good for being it's price and along with the "1b colors" but that chipset? I was expecting more powerful chipset, but that gonna cost more if it were to add. This phone probably or focused in photography. I'll say I want a balanced camera and chipset I guess I will find another way

I had a plan to buy Samsy A54, but my colleague bought Sony 1 III and I am finflding it very comfortable in hand. It is very narrow and longer i yo comoare it with Samsung A71 I have right now.
I am giving a chanceto Sony after longer Time. Last time I had Sony-Ericsson 2010. I believe and compatibility with Sony PS5 is better then with another phones. Kan Pai!

Have been... moreHi mate, are you able to elaborate further about your experience, i.e. the slowness (or lags) in the phone? From some user reviews that I read, it seems that the SD695 is sufficient for daily use (browsing, normal banking, uber apps, phone, texting, and occasionally watching videos).
I'm interested in getting this phone but I'm not certain of the processor for daily use, and whether this might last for 2-3 years of usage. Grateful if you could share your experience.

Crap phone. TOTALLY NOT WORTH the price. Go with Samsung (A54 for example) instead.
Have been using it since July - very glitchy and at times very slow. The only good thing is that the battery indeed lasts.

Super disappointing to see it being just a rename of the 10 IV which was already just a 10 III with a refreshed SoC. I'd rather get a 10 III in good condition for cheaper and still have all the features.

Sony launches cool hole-less, notch-less, pill-less phones every year, but without any effort in distribution.
