Omg these are SD625 and 630 phones just like this one. I had no idea qualcomm had made these fully efficient cpus just like Exynos 7870.
And Xperia10 supports alternative OSes too? I am impressed.
Spanish links but you see the models just fine

Lineage os 20 is out! So you can have Android 13 on this phone!
Or... install Sailfish OS from Jolla and have an alternative in your phone.
I have an xperia 10 i4113. But everytime i restart it shows some service figure for a second. I have not been able to go into recovery mode neither fastboot mode. I wanted to install lineage os19.1 but now i cannot. Can someone help me.
dan, 06 Mar 2023Sailfish OS, how it is with basic version, not payed?it's always me replying. It works ok, you don't have whatsapp or messanger or those android apps, but there are native apps for mastodon, matrix, telegram (sorta). It works okay, maybe the browser is a bit slow. But photos are not bad, video arrives at 1080p but should check with openrepos/chum if I find some other camera apps for sailfish. In short with trial version it works but if you want to support Jolla or have more options feel free to buy the license.

For browser use Bromite instead of Chrome because less battery consume and it is faster. Time to time open Support Sony App perform oprimization and clean cache, also restart device when the app suggest. Im happy with this device, after warranty i will open bootloader and flash LineageOS 19.1 Android 12 because on my other device Xperia XA2 it runs perfect and smooth.

3 years down the line, the thing is just so slow in opening apps. I have done a factory reset and its still just so slow. At the time I bought it, it was ok but now its just long in the tooth and if anyone is considering getting one now don't. Unless you get it dirt cheap. For a backup phone just for calls and texts, its fine. Anything else, spend a bit more money and get something else.

Emmc is slower than UFS and affect the phone performance due to limitation of storage type while the UFS not have this kind of limitation, and combined with SD630 which only relies on Low performance core a53 is not great experience, because even the samsung and another brand offers better 660 or even UFS at midrange class
We know you dont have any phone with UFS so you wont know the difference between them, so go buy it and feel the difference, once you try the UFS phone you won't get back to eMMC unless you are short of money

Lots of issues with the wifi. I have to keep turning on and off airplane mode to reset the wifi to get it to work. Most recently the wifi hotspot stopped working and I haven't been able to resolve the issue.
Anonymous, 28 Jul 2021Freezes because of eMMC, eMMC only allows one yes only 1 processing for every storage channel,... moreThis is not a meaningful statement. The storage tech matters, but more in mechanisms of implementation, costs, etc etc. Performance is generally not an issue as eMMC 5.1 is capable of very fast speeds. I started to say "unless you're running heavy games on your phone" but then remembered that the Nintendo Switch uses eMMC and it actually has no significant troubles with things like load times when running from its internal storage in actual major non-mobile games. (Now you'll see plenty of complaints about the CPU and GPU being much worse than other major consoles, but read/write performance is not an issue.)
There is room for complaint about its specifications, but I think when you start declaring that any device using eMMC is automatically bad you're just looking for excuses to hate it.
Mazzy2u, 04 Dec 2021This phone was underpowered when it was new, its even worse now. Why Sony went for such a rubb... moreI'm wondering about this claim. I don't have an Xperia 10 in hand (just considering buying one) but I ran the Geekbench benchmark on my current (admittedly quite old) phone and got 932 for the multicore score (I'm assuming it must be using that, because other wise the difference is almost exponentially in favor of the Xperia 10.) I'm not sure how to get an AnTuTu score since it's not listed for my phone here and the apps are suspicious at best, but googling it I see numbers that look to be fairly close to the same percentage difference as the Geekbench result (again in favor of the Xperia 10.) My current phone runs most apps quite smoothly. I'll admit that isn't as much higher of a score (990 versus 932) for such a newer, higher range phone, but I think maybe this may point more to app usage (I keep my background apps to a minimum and don't use stuff like Facebook)
