The Android 12 update already hit the Sony Xperia 5 III and Xperia 1 III and now the company is shifting its focus to its mid-range phones. Its most recent Instagram post suggests that the latest Google OS will hit the Xperia 10 II and 10 III "very soon".
Earlier this month Sony pushed a stable Android 12 update to its Xperia 5 II flagship from 2020, so we might see it arrive for the midrangers in March as well.
It's noteworthy that the Xperia 10 II is a 2-year-old budget phone so receiving Android 12 after being launched with Android 10 is admirable. No word on the Xperia 10 III Lite, though.
@WhiteyFox It runs a lot lot better then Redmi Note 11 4GB that I bought in pre-order and sell it one month later. Software on Sony is miles ahead of crap-ware from Xiaomi. Piece of garbrage Note 11 actually manege to hang few times and needed rest...
Found 10 II in a stock house for 130 euros. I want a secondary device for remote/cloud play and a few mobile games. Will it do? The 4GB of RAM are worrying me.
