Samsung's Bixby is now available for kids

Samsung Android Mobile software Online services

Not only does Samsung's Bixby still exist, but it's gaining new features. That may sound shocking if you thought the Korean company's assistant software had been abandoned, or at least not being actively developed anymore.

As it turns out, Bixby is very much still alive and kicking. And now available for kids! This exciting development comes courtesy of a new update, which is currently rolling out. After this is installed, the assistant will gain the ability to work with child accounts (for kids under 13).

Children can ask Bixby questions, listen to stories, play music, and play games. Bixby will respond to kids with age-appropriate and kid-friendly content.

To get this working, you'll need to create a group for your family through your Samsung account. You can then set up child accounts they can use on Samsung devices, and once you do, they can take advantage of Bixby.

Bixby for kids is unfortunately only supported in the US and Korea at the moment, with more countries to be added gradually in the future.

Same. It has amazing hardware, except for pentile AMOLED. But software ruins the whole phone. I'm waiting for custom ROM or some capable phone from Motorola or Nokia. AFAIK, they are the only ones that have mostly stock Android.

I've been using a Samsung A52s for over a year now, I never used Bixby, but the bloatware is a bit excessive, and the camera software processing simply ruins the photos. If I'm honest, I probably won't own another Samsung
