Samsung Week has officially started, but it’s not like other weeks – for starters, it will last 10 days. This is a time for Samsung US to offer big discounts on its smartphones, tablets, accessories and other electronics.
Obviously, we’ll look at the phone deals first. These cover Samsung’s high end with two S23 modes and two Z foldables, but there’s a deal on Samsung’s popular mid-ranger too, the Galaxy A54.
The Galaxy Z Flip5 and Galaxy Z Fold5 offers include enhanced trade-in, which means that you can send in more than one device for extra credit towards the purchase.
The Galaxy A54 finds the sweet spot between flagships and mid-rangers - it gets S-series level of software support but doesn't cost as much as an S23.
If you don’t need the latest and greatest models, you can grab refurbished units from the 2022 Galaxy S series at lower prices.
The tablet offers are also a mix of flagships and older more affordable devices. The original Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 trio is available with discounts of up to $800 and enhanced trade-in. The Tab S9 FE and Tab S9 FE+ are still too new for discounts, but they do come with a free Smart Book Cover.
Then there’s the cheap but capable Galaxy Tab S6 Lite from last year. Even though this is a “lite” tablet, it still has things like stylus support and DeX. If you’d rather skip those and save even more money, check out the Samsung Galaxy Tab A8 10.5 from 2021.
Several older accessories also dropped in price, starting with the Galaxy Watch5 Pro Golf edition. It’s from last year, but it still has the biggest battery on a Galaxy Watch and the fastest charging too. The Golf Edition edition means that golf courses are pre-loaded and there are a few other perks. The Galaxy Watch4 is available too, at a lower price.
Then there are the Galaxy Buds2. These have Active Noise Cancellation, IPX2 splash resistance and wireless charging for the case.
We’ll wrap things up with options to upgrade your computer. If you need a new laptop, the entire Galaxy Book3 family is available with enhanced trade-in up to $600.
If it’s a desktop PC that you’re looking to upgrade, the Samsung 990 Pro SSD is available in 1TB and 2TB capacities at 31% off. Note that this is the version with a heat sink, but that fits inside a PlayStation 5 too.
Alternatively, you can pick up external storage with the Samsung T7 Touch portable SSD, also in 1TB and 2TB capacities. The Touch has a fingerprint reader on board for enhanced security.
Finally, how about a new monitor? There are several gaming monitors that work with PC and console, as well as some that are basically Smart TVs.
We may get a commission from qualifying sales.
The preorder deal was better for most of these devices. The S23U was $800 off with a S22U trade in but they gave a free upgrade to 512gb and $50 off pre order credit. The Z Fold 5 was the same thing. Trade in a S22U and get $1000 off plus a free...
Re. Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 there are no savings. The reference site posts no discount and the claimed $600 discount on this site is just a made up number. Sorry, GSMArena, this article looks like copy-and-paste job with NO added value but with the wro...
If you appreciate your sanity, please don't buy a Samsung monitor or TV at ANY price. Source: Someone who RMAd Samsung monitors four times in the past three years.
