Samsung starts selling Certified Re-Newed Galaxy S26, S26+, and S26 Ultra in the UK
Samsung's Certified Re-Newed program, which offers 'like new' refurbished devices through its official online store, has now added the Galaxy S26, Galaxy S26+, and Galaxy S26 Ultra in the UK.
You can score a Certified Re-Newed S26 for £739 with 256GB of storage and £899 with 512GB, an S26+ with 256GB of storage for £929 and with 512GB for £1,079, and an S26 Ultra with 256GB of storage for £1,079, with 512GB for £1,239, and with 1TB for £1,469.
Here's how these prices stack up against the phone's launch pricing in the UK:
| Model | Storage | Launch RRP | Re-Newed price | Saving | Discount |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Galaxy S26 | 256GB | £879 | £739 | £140 | 15.9% |
| Galaxy S26 | 512GB | £1,049 | £899 | £150 | 14.3% |
| Galaxy S26+ | 256GB | £1,099 | £929 | £170 | 15.5% |
| Galaxy S26+ | 512GB | £1,269 | £1,079 | £190 | 15.0% |
| Galaxy S26 Ultra | 256GB | £1,279 | £1,079 | £200 | 15.6% |
| Galaxy S26 Ultra | 512GB | £1,449 | £1,239 | £210 | 14.5% |
| Galaxy S26 Ultra | 1TB | £1,699 | £1,469 | £230 | 13.5% |
There is a caveat, however. During pre-orders, Samsung offered the 512GB models for the price of those with 256GB of storage, so if you compare to that pricing, the Certified Re-Newed Galaxy S26 is actually £20 more with 512GB of storage, while the savings for the rest of the family are between £20 and £40. However, this is obviously not meant for the same people who pre-ordered any of these phones.
The Certified Re-Newed devices undergo "an in-house expert inspection and refurbishment process", Samsung says, which includes "rigorous cleaning and quality tests". All devices are reset to delete personal data and ensure they are "sold in a condition equivalent to that of a brand-new device". You also get the same warranty as with a new phone.

there are new "sealed" offers in Amazon which are way cheaper than the 2nd hand options here. what Samsung is offering is worthless
Exactly. Those prices only makes sense for brand new versions of those phones not used ones.
