MtZ, 19 Nov 2024The phone is nice especially when playing games or watching movies with the size of the screen... moreI paid a lot for this phone when it first came out.After a couple od months the phone when opened could not unfold flat, i let it go for about a year. i contacted Samsung customer service about this issue ans was flatly told " your out of warranty". since then i have seen online that this is a common issue. this is a manufacturing problem and they know it. i will never buy another Samsung product. Comcast {xnfinity) wont even take this phone in on trade. I bought this to be able to use it as a tablet phone in on trade.

T... moreHave been waiting for the update until it announces that there will be update possibly on April 7 or 14 in Asia and only to know the update is just trash. We are phone users for the longest time using other brands than Samsung and figured out that the update android 15 additions are "just" the screen WIDGETS, WHAT??Widgets that looks like old and copy from iPhone models goodness. Been waiting for the UI7 for at least there's a "new" look incomparable from other brand such an iphone. Instead of waiting for this in Samsung you guys buy Xiaomi that It looks like the same as iphone models.

The phone is nice especially when playing games or watching movies with the size of the screen. The only downfall I have on it is the fold. They need to make the screen more durable. I use to have a screen protector on the inside but with open and closing it, the screen protector cracked down the center. I took off the screen protector and went with just the normal screen since it's protected anyways when closed. Well the normal screen is now creasing down the middle and will probably crack within a few months to a year from now. They need to make the screen more durable and able to withstand the opening and closing of the phone. I will probably not get this phone anymore and will just go back to a normal size phone once this one is eligible for trade in because of that problem. They want to much for a phone that will eventually crack on the screen for me to stay with this type.

Since making the comment, I've talked to her and she agreed not to get the fold since she can be kind of clumsy and I would hate for her to drop a foldable phone since those can be more expensive to repair. She agreed on the S24 FE. Hopefully she doesn't drop it! 😁

I love my Z fold 4. Bought it in 2022 So my 63 year old eyes can see a phone screen. It does everything! I use it in place of my laptop. I create images on Canva and draw with it. I watch TV, and social media on it. Manage my home, church activities, diabetes, and work from it. Hubby says I am on my phone at lease 12 hours straight everyday. I let the grandkids hold it and play games on it. My camera is great. I did buy a case to protect it. Have dropped it several times in the case. I have no problems with the inner or outer screen. The only down sides- the tech is newer than my car, so it's not compatible. I wish it was lighter. It is heavy in my pocket or purse.

2) Fonts are too small unless your vision is good
3) Battery can't last long and I've to charge 3 times a day
4) Charging speed is quite slow
5) The inner screen gets scratched easily
6) Previously, it was hot but now better because of UI 6.1.1
7) Camera is so-so

I need some advice. My sister is currently on an LG V40 ThinQ, and she wants a Samsung Fold. The 5 and 6 are really expensive, and I was looking into the fold 4 since it looks like it will receive Android 15 and other usual updates, along with a good price for one I found renewed on Amazon. Are there any issues about this phone she should know about, and will this phone last for at least a few years in hardware and software?

I wish that samsung stopped the ugly things that do with the camera for example if you use the double camera u can't use the flash and I the wide angle u can't also its really bad thing to have

One year after buying I have a black screen when I open it up. Now it's stuck in a loop after doing an upgrade. This was an expensive phone and now it's useless to me. Not happy
