It was a nice phone untill the WIFI went off without coming back. After 2 Yrs of usage , hardware failures start . my wifi is not working and even after reset factory settings still Wifi is not working so u have to pay alot for data all ur life.
I will never buy a samsung phone again , i am done

Its been a year and a half of using fold 3 as daily driver. So let me share with you what my experience is like using. Let me clear off one point, before this i always have 1 phone and 1 tablet, whenever i upgrade, i keep it that way, 1 phone and 1 tab always.
Eversince using the fold 3, my tab has been left in the drawer most of the time and i have lost interest in using it, to the point i sold it off.
Loved tablets all my life, phones are just there for the camera needs i have. As tabs dont really have great cameras. That was the biggest missing point, otherwise i would just use a tablet and wouldnt need a phone.
Now with the fold 3, i have a great enough phone, with powerful enough processor . Great enough camera.
Also with the fold 3, i have an easy to carry Tablet, with powerful processor, and great enough camera.
Verdict, now, I have a phone for quick texts etc, i have the tab whenever i need to watch something ,read something, work a bit. And i only need 1 pocket to store it all.
No issues with hardware of software
Batfery has never been an issue.

Have had the phone for 1.5 years not good
Front Camera won't work
Powers off and wont turn in unless plugged in after being folded

Not really that much. Camera is "ok" but nothing more. Low light is big trouble for it I need to say.
If you want a foldable under 1000€ i still would recommend it but keep in mind that the cam is not the reason you buy this phone.

A lot of common problems seem to be related to the components that span the hinge not being able to handle repeated daily folding for nearly as long as they should.

I dont understand the complains here. Got the phone since a year, no technical issues with the screens whatsoever, my Fold looks still brand new (prob because I use a case, as you should with such an expensive phone) .
Only thing that bothers me is the camera quality - it is not particulary bad or something - it is just not up to the standards I expect from a phone sold for nearly 2000€ at release.

The fold 3 not good with cable connect a lot of error when open and close plus with software update to fold 3 have Wi-Fi cannot turn on when open the internal screen the phone crashing when Wi-Fi turn on and open the internal screen

Sincerly i have that smartphone for work for gaming ,music listen ,wathing movie sincerlly perfect ,nothing whrong to working ,now as a know how come you will use it you will have it in good condition,i recomand that device its more than you expect ,

I have been using my Samsung Galaxy z fold3 a little bit more then one year and I have a screen problem like my previous one I had used. I want ask why the company why they havent fixed or checked this problem before marketing it

I'll give it another 2 years perhaps before investing on any folding options.

After years of iPhone, I wanted to try something different and went for a Huawei P30 Pro. I loved this phone, but got the offer of a Fold 3 just before my contract ended. I decided to go for it. It looked exciting and the prospect of unfolding to a bigger screen was too much not to take the deal.
When I got it, I won't lie, I was a bit disappointed with the front screen. It was very narrow and I barely used the phone in this state other than to read a message or notifications etc...
Other than that, it was a great phone. A few months in, and the protective plastic over the folded screen split in the middle. At the time, I didn't know it was the protective screen and was worried I'd made a huge mistake.
That weekend, I was in London so visited the Samsung store in Westfield, who replaced it for me free of charge.
A few months later and the same thing happened again. Again, I went to a different Samsung store in Leicester, and again, it was replaced.
You guessed it... another few months and it happened again, only this time, under the protective cover were splits in the actual screen. By now, I was out of warranty.
I found it annoying that having looked after phones, never dropping them, never submerged one in water, not so much as a cracked screen, and my current phone was doing it all by itself!
I noticed too, that when people around me on the same sim contract, had plenty of signal, I had very little and call quality wasn't great.
Around 18 months after first lifting my new phone out of its box, the screen would go black randomly, the speakers wouldn't play sounds clearly without some white noise, and the phone has become unfit for purpose.
I still have to pay the device off, but have had to buy another phone, which is great.
Nothing against Samsung as I know there are other foldables out there, but I would be wary about a foldable going forwards, based on my experience with this phone.

I was extremely proud of this phone when I was gifted but after 14months of use it developed a black line on the crease and the right side became unresponsive. Very disappointed after all the care and light use as a secondary phone. Has Samsung improved on the Fold 4?

After 16 months of use, I found that the crease portion could not be written on using the S-Pen. Then, after 17 months, I encountered a problem with the WiFi connection. I took it to a Samsung service center where I was informed that both issues were related to the LCD and would require a replacement that would cost half the price of the device. This was surprising as my Samsung TV had also faced an LCD problem, and my Samsung watch had undergone an LCD replacement last year. As a result, I have decided that my next gadget will not be a Samsung product, and I promise to stick to this decision.
