Simple example use the Flip 4 for 7 years since the time it was released and you will miss the advantage of the Flip 6. While they is only 2 years separating the Flip 4 and the Flip 6. You will be stack with the tiny screen on the Flip 4 while the Flip 6 offers bigger screen and better options. Yes you must wait for 7 years of update but for me 3 years is enough 'cause after 2 years I get a new device.

When my battery de... moreHow can you use a phone for 7 years, after 2 years I feel like buying a new phone. What you guys forgot it is that latest CPU works better with latest Android update. After 7 years the CPU on the Flip 6 will not take full advantage of the 7 years android update and you will be so bored using the Flip 6 after 7 years. So the Motorola way of updating the device doesn't disturb me at all 3 years is enough because after 2 years I will buy a new phone with better CPU and latest android version.

The Razr 50 Ultra is 144 and can use any apps on the front screen and cost cheaper than the Flip 6

People paying up to and over £1000 for a phone just to ise it for social media and YouTube. Crazy. If you want absolute value, skip a flip phone. It's a gimmick. The outside screen is 60Hz for example and the actual screens themselves still have a relatively thick border around them. The phone is actually decent but compare it to the same price of phones that aren't flip and you'll get better quality. The extra screen and the fa t it flips, will all add to the cost obviously. Then markup because it's a gimmick phone. It still performs well, though. Just not my thing. Most phones have endless features that we don't use. People buying high end phones to just swipe on the Internet or social media. People often buy what they don't need. Don't make the same mistake. Or you'll regret it for the next 50 years. Unless you're already 100, then no doubt you'll be in regret because you bought an over priced Blackberry phone for MSN messenger. When most people just texted instead back then.

Very few will.The main problem is battery degradation after about 3 tears or so and the lack of security updates after three or four years. Both problems are solved for me with the Flip 6. It will be getting security updates for several years and like I said here previously, when the battery starts to go bad, I'll just go to the nearby Samsung Experience Shop and they will replace the battery and I'll still have years of security updates and a phone with a new battery.

You're looking for a Full Screen when folded with a big battery. Both of those can be found on the fold. Full screen on a Flip when folded defeats the purposes of having a compact mobile device. For me the fold is considered as a "Compact tablet"

You guys need to understand that different things are important to different people. AND THAT IS OKAY!
This is gonna be the best phone for some and the worst for others. And comments like "then go for cheap chinese phone if you need that feature", or "it's 2024, the world moved on" are pointless and brainless and no one cares what you think on someones opinion about the phone. This comment section is about the phone.. Mind your business people, you'll be happier, I promise.
