scorpio, 08 Mar 2023I have just received my new SGW5 as part of the promotion to purchase an s23 in Australia for ... moreUse Samsung Wear to manage your watch and look under "classic" _ I found both Tomcat and Frontier and downloaded both of them, transferred them to new watch (GW5) - only thing I noticed is the second hand is continuous on GW5 watch but visibly "ticks" several times a second on my old Galaxy Watch.

After using it for one year, the display suddenly detached from the frame. I dont know why but i notiched that the display adhesive bacame brittle and was pulvorized. Thankfully the flex or ribbon cable was not damaged leaving the display hanging but still working. I managed to fix it by applying B7000 display adhesive. The watch now works but i guess i will try not to put it near souce of water.

After one year of using this galaxy watch 5 44mm. The display suddenly detached from the frame. I dont know why but i notticed that the adhesive hardened and became brittle thats why it separated from frame. Thankfully, the ribbon did not tear and the watch is still working. I managed to put it back using B7000 adhesive. It is now useable but i will try to avoid it to be sprayed with water.

It makes no sense to have the display on for 99% of the time. The time when it isn't being looked at. It would make about as much sense as using an always on display on a cell phone. It's in my pocket or on a charging cradle most of the time. Why would I need the phone display on if I'm not looking at it?
And with the watch, I am not looking at it most of the time. So why would I need the display on when I've not looking at it. Instead, I turn my wrist to look at the watch and it turns on. Only when I need to look at it.

Kate, 19 Sep 2023What watch is better - 4 classic or 5? Thank you! From my observation on the internet, watch 5 44mm slightly better than watch 4 classic. Watch 5 44m has bigger battery, fast charging, a little bit more accurate on tracking health information and get more year update. But don't have rotating bazzel.

But isn't that the point of a smart watch, it should be functional and long lasting, so you need the always on display since the smart watch should still be a regular watch

I bought the sm-905U version and the watch is super cute its screen is very good the apps work 100% mine is lte and it's connected to tmobile good signal it has speakers and microphone you can answer any call even if you left the phone you don't need the tel to work the strap is very beautiful it feels super good on the wrist it brings everything a very good watch but the battery is very weak

This watch is good! I had a Watch 4 before I got this one, 2 weeks ago. What I can say, is that there's a big difference in the battery usage.
With the Watch 4, I got 1½ to 2 days. With the Watch 5, I get 2½ to 3 days.
The display has also improved.

MladenJ, 12 May 2023I have POCO F2 PRO, not everyone has Samsung mobile phones and which sensor are you referring to?There are 2 buttons on the watch. The upper one is red and this is the sensor for recording ECG. You hold your finger against it for 30 seconds whilst it measures your reading. I suspect that this is only available on Samsung watches.
