Hi guys, my fair opinion after using it for 2 weeks :
i own a Gear S3 classic too for the past 3 years and despite my Watch 4 (40mm) being a bit nicer and thinner, i think it's a bit of a let down.
-OS Tizen was faster and less confusing to use (too many swiping possibilities now)
-even if i turn off my watch 4 once back home from work every evening, the battery barely lasts 3 days. I had to disable location in its menus to reach "3 days". I don't use wrist movement activation either. In comparison, with same usage, my Gear S3 lasts a full week.
-As someone said, the bezel is way too big and it's not really a touch area since i have to touch the border of the displayed area rather than this (weird, i wasn't understanding the tutorial at first until i did that)
But i still enjoy its brighter Oled screen, its nicer looking menus and customizable options.
Watch apps will be more present later but being able to use Google maps on it is already a great feature.
Its overall flatness and its various easily swappable straps (ordered a few mostly on aliexpress)
Btw, i bought a glass film to protect it from the daily possible damages.
I really hope that most of problems will be fixed within a few updates from Samsung (i have still received a firmware update for my Gear S3 last month), so i know they can do better and probably will.

Well, after lot of thoughts i decided to buy Galaxy Watch (SM-R815F) the 2018 model & cancelled my pre-booking of Watch4 for now. Will wait fr better Samsung watch next year. I got a good deal on this old model watch which was recently made by Samsung in March 2021, I got the LTE version in ₹14k or approx $197.

I have compared the blood pressure monitor of galaxy watch 4 and real blood pressure monitor for about a week.
The blood pressure measurement is a complete scam. The numbers were never far from the 'calibration' value, despite of your real condition. How can samsung sell such a gimmick?

AK, 07 Sep 2021Do you advise upgrading from Samsung galaxy LTE 46mm 2018 model to Samsung Galaxy 4 2021 model?Wud not advise b'coz probably frm next year, smart watch may also come with 5G support instead of LTE. But if u want to get a taste of Google's Wear OS 1st time in Samsung smart watch..then yes, U can give a try.

Ordered the Thom Browne edition. Came with Galaxy watch 4.
Reviews - 1 Week usage.
Pros : Very lightweight. Fast UI, Accessibility of Apps is very smooth and no lag.
Cons : Poorest battery. Even with GPS or Low light or Power saving mode, no notifications etc - Battery will hit 50% by 12PM. You must charge it twice a day.
Stats are mostly inaccurate - Steps counter is wrong, calorie counter is wrong when compared to Apple watch. Blood O2 seems accurate. Body measurement of Fat etc is inaccurate. Is it a must buy for all users - No. Should stay happy with Galaxy watch 3

I moved from IOS to galaxy but kept my ipad. But my apple watch wouldn't work properly on phone and wouldn't work at all with ipad

Just pre-ordered the Samsung watch4(black) in India..the BT version. It costs me around ₹20k i.e. approx $282. Will be delivered by 21st Sept. It wud b my 1st ever on launch Samsung electronic product..excited!! 😊

Samsung Galaxy Watch... moreI wouldn't really recommend the watch active 2 if you plan to do a lot on the watch itself, I think it's very slow, there are a very few apps (and the apps that are available are really bad) and for non-samsung the connectivity is also awful. The Watch 4 however, I've upgraded to this watch and I think it's a very fast and very solid smartwatch with awesome software, where you can download a lot more apps than the watch active 2. I also think this works a lot better on non-samsung devices. I don't know anything about the huawei watch 3 pro but this is my advice if you are going to pick a samsung device.

I don't really like the notification system.
Because when some notification appears the location of the little bubbles are really hard to touch because they are crossed with some other functionality like hearth rate.
So sometimes when I try to touch a notification I end up touching something different
