Currently, only Apple tabs have a great camera for this reason

So it's just you whose eyesight is terrible and needs to go for an optician's.

When I'm at home it's extremely rare for me to ever touch my phone. It goes on a wireless charging cradle when I get home. And stays there until I leave again. All my S23+ calls get routed over BT to a cordless phone system. And all texts can be sent/received from my tablets or my PCs. I don't need to use my cell phone for it.
So it's much easier to just use the tablet I have in the room. To take pictures or videos. It's part of the reason I want to at least upgrade my three Tab S7 FE tablets this year to S9/S9+ tablets. For the better photo and video capability. Like my Tab S8 and S8+ have.

Although I don't plan on trading in my Tab S8 and Tab S8+ unless they offer a crazy good trade in with a crazy good sale in November/December.
I do plan on trading in my three Tab S7 FE tablets for two Tab S8 and one Tab S9+ tablets. But I might only trade in one now and wait until November/December to trade in the other two. Since they typically have better sales and trade in deals then. But the cashback is usually worse then too. Right now I can get 10% cash back from Samsung (With TopCashBack). Instead of the normal 3%.
Plus it's more of a pain trading in three or more tablets in such a short period of time. like I did last year when I traded in five tablets. It's much easier to spread them out. And I'm already doing a trade in of one of my Galaxy watches toward a Watch6. So I'll only do one S7FE tablet trade in now too.

Wow I'm glad this came out before I considered the s8 it's probably gunna be around 800 gbp and everything about it is what im after, but if your after a budget tablet then this ain't for you but in the long run this will out preform a budget tablet and probably last longer

You're literally getting the top of the line chip for android and an amazing display. The S8 looks so bad compared to this. AND BESIDES, the good thing about samsung is their prices fall hard and sometimes, fast lol so just wait a little bit my friend

Bogdaan, 27 Jul 2023This is not a budget tablet by miles, what do you mean by that?i said budget conscious, this is a real value product, you're getting a top of the line chipset, a stylus, great display now, good enough battery and all that for less than what apple's offering. That's what i meant by budget conscious, if you want a good tablet with a stylus you needed to spend much more, now you don't. And the benefits of this being android means a lot of freedom, the biggest drawback is that this is not as good as an ipad like how an ipad integrates the ios with their tabs
