My older brother who is not the sharpest pen in the box bough this as a present to our mother who will play solitaire with it only for her birthday. Didn't talk to me about it too as i would of said to him that get Redmi Tab Pro with SD 7s gen 2 as for the reason of larger screen, larger battery and faster charger.
Told me that it should be 8GB ram version that needs 4GB of the ram turned on in the settings. Like what the heck is that even ? So it must be 4GB ram version then as there is no turning on ram thing. I have 8GB ram on phone and can turn on 3GB virtual ram on it but i wont do it as i dont need it.
But it gets long term updates. Well it come with slow as heck chip so after all the updates it be competing in snail race

I bought a 4GB/64GB model.
speed - 4/10 (lags within the UI, is 5x less powerful than 8 elite devices)
design - 10/10
screen - 6/10 (reflective screen, outdated TFT tech)
battery life - 7/10
speakers - 10/10 (they're legendary for a $169 tablet)
cameras - 5/10
overall score - 7/10 (decent for the price, depending on your use cases)

Recently only i came to know that bypass charging is working on this device once it reached the 80% limit(tested with a power z tester) . Now I plugged almost 24/7 when I'm at home with 80% charging limit knowing no battery cycle will be wasted

It may not be as fast, but it is satisfactory. However, the software is much better, more fluid than the competition. Thank you Samsung

SrednaX, 06 May 2025I agree, babies bitching when they know that buying it at release is not a clever thing to do,... more I don't know what is all the fuss about VERSION or upgrade ,I think it is an excellent tablet , and does what I input ..Unless you doing a scientific research on gene therapy and want to tackle DNA sequence , then go buy a super computer .

Still very much laggy, with graphical issues in games. Battery life is nice, but with only 15 watt charging the device is basically completely out of commission for the whole day if you run it out.

Just a quick update here. Android 15 and one ui 7 did WONDERS for my A9+, it honestly feels like a different device. The ever present little lags, and general "slow" feel have practically dissapeared. I do not recall any update, on any device that I have had, that provided such a positive difference on usability.
