Samsung Android Firmware Updates

Samsung has released the Android 13-based One UI 5.0 stable update for the Galaxy Tab A8 10.5 (2021), which was announced in December 2021 with Android 11.

The update is rolling out for the Wi-Fi-only model in Europe and LTE variant in dozens of countries, including India.

The Wi-Fi model gets One UI 5.0 in Europe with firmware version X200XXU1CVL5, while the update for the LTE version in the Old Continent comes with firmware X205XXU1CVL6. In India, the LTE model is receiving One UI 5.0 with firmware version X205XXU1CVL5.

If you live in any of these countries and haven't received One UI 5.0 on your Galaxy Tab A8 10.5 (2021) yet, you can check for it manually by heading to your tablet's Settings > Software update menu.

They removed many of the great features that this tablet had.Very disappointing.

It's not slower than A7 but definitely not a proper upgrade over it. And yes wifi was major issue for the longest time but then someone in Samsung forum suggested to turn off wifi throttle option...its much better now.
