Samsung revealed that pre-orders around the world achieved a double-digit increase compared with the Galaxy S23 lineup. The company also confirmed 65% of all customers went for the Galaxy S24 Ultra.
The selling point of this year's flagships is Galaxy AI. According to TM Roh, President and Head of Mobile eXperience Business at Samsung, the generative AI features will “permanently change the way people interact with the world”.
He also confirmed Galaxy AI will be extended to previous models through software updates, including the Galaxy S23 series, the Z Fold5 and Z Flip5 foldables, as well as the trio of flagship tablets Tab S9.

There are more intriguing bits, like the new Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 and Exynos 2400 chipsets. Also, the Galaxy S24 and Galaxy S24+ have bigger batteries, while the S24 Ultra has a new camera setup, titanium frame and a screen that should be less reflective, harder to scratch and brighter.
The selling point is definitely not the AI. Sad they don't know well consumers expectations.
