Nifol, 22 Jan 2023I need a card slot for work stuff, so no SD card slot means no purchase. You can get the Sony Xperia smartphones. They have support for SD card slot as well as headphone jack.

1. If you drop your phone break it, drop it in the lake, such as you can't get in it anymore you will loose all your pictures, documents, etc.
If you have a memory card you can just take it out with all your stuff and place it in your new phone. This has happened twice to me.
2. If you get a new phone you can just take pout the memory card from your old phone and place it in the new one and not waste time transfering from a PC.
3. If you sell your phone anyone can recover your documents or info from the phone. If you have a memory card you always have your info with you.
Still have doubts about the benefits of memory cards.
I understand Samsung wants to make more money by charging you $1000 more for 1TB model, and its ok they need the money for development, and most people don't need that much memory, however they should offer a top of the line model like the S Ultra lineup with memory card.

Nifol, 22 Jan 2023I need a card slot for work stuff, so no SD card slot means no purchase. USB-C adapters exist, and they can be multi-card capable which is a bonus. The real downer is no headphone jack, for those who want high fidelity audio with dacs and monitors, but have to sacrifice the charging capability with a USB-C adapter.

Samsung should have called it S22.1 Ultra... moreS9 was a little upgrade from s8, s7 was a little upgrade from s6, s22 ultra was a little upgrade from s21 ultra, basically, yearly upgrades aren’t noticeable, but particularly s23 ilia odd decent upgrade from s22 ultra, screen-to-body ratio is the only thing that is better on s22 ultra
