Samsung released Android 11-based One UI 3.0 for the Galaxy S20 FE 4G and 5G in December, and now it is rolling One UI 3.1 for the 5G variant in Europe with version number G781BXXU2CUB5.
The new build comes with the February 2021 security patch and some new features, including location data removal from photos, the ability to add video call effects in third-party apps, and Google Discover on the home screen. You can check out the changelog below for more details.
The new firmware is rolling out in over a dozen countries, including Germany, Netherlands, Belgium, Greece, Romania, Spain, Nordic, Czech Republic, Switzerland, Italy, France, Slovenia, Baltic, Portugal, United Kingdom, and Poland.
If you live in one of these countries, you'll receive One UI 3.1 on your Galaxy S20 FE 5G any moment now. And if you can't wait for the update notification to pop up on your device, you can check for the update manually by heading to your phone's Settings menu.
After using the new update for a while it feels good. Getting used to it fast and loving it esp the light blue feels cool wish we can also choose pink too or another color for notification. But it seems we are back to dark blue. Love the photo featur...
Since the last update the phone is overheating so much that the apps are lagging, worst update ever! Probably that's why they halted the update! Hope they will solve this soon...
