Regardless, this design is a personal preference. I'm not sure why you believe that aluminium is prone to scratches, when I've experienced more scratches with plastic phones from my use. Especially my current phone (Nokia 8) with a glossy aluminium unibody had zero scratches from my use, while my J3 suffered from scratches around the frame and on the back.

Not sure what's special about this aluminum to you though, it's not stainless steel. And "Any phone under 190g is lightweight for my requirements"? That fits the description of about 85% of phones on this site.
Regardless, your personal preferences still don't mean the design is "unmatched to date." By most people's standards this is a generic looking glass sandwich and a downgrade from the gen prior in some regards.
This phone appears to take good pictures still. I've only done it with my cats but after seeing how good they came out, I'm excited to take it out one day. Assuming it doesn't die in .5 picoseconds

Balance, fluidity and other factors are pretty subjective, and a wide phone with the given dimensions and supposedly premium materials have a balanced heft and a light weight to it. Any phone under 190g is lightweight for my requirements. If my comment isn't clear to you, feel free to clarify my opinions.

And wdym "because of the 16:9 display, a balanced weight with slim bezels, a glossy glass back and a frame less prone to scratches than the so-called "successors"" 16:9 displays are only good for watching standard videos. They're too wide for phones. Balanced weight? My Redmi K60 balances perfectly centered on my finger, not that it even matters. Slim bezels? Maybe in comparison to old iPhones, which is like calling a car fast because it's faster than walking. A glossy glass back? Like literally every phone. Less prone to scratches? Glass is glass. It either cracks easier or scratches easier. There's no better glass.

The design feels less generic because of the 16:9 display, a balanced weight with slim bezels, a glossy glass back and a frame less prone to scratches than the so-called "successors"

The screen unlock effects with the swipe lockscreen is a nice and unique touch too.
Also, the glass and metal sandwich has far more personality with the home key and 16:9 display. It doesn't look as generic as the flagship ones manufactured by Huaqin and Wingtech with the same brand name.
Minu, 25 Apr 2024Still, the design and UI is unmatched to date from Samsung itself. It's a glass and metal sandwich. What do you mean unmatched in terms of design. It's the exact same as every other phone that's come out since the S6. (Apart from the mostly centered camera area, which I do prefer)
And the UI is software. It doesn't make this phone special. It had the same TouchWiz you'd find on a Note 4.

why does this phone look like samsung galaxy s7
It's easy to forget this existed. Was a pretty disappointing phone tbh. Removed card slot, no more removeable battery and the battery was shrunk. Lol.
Still using it since its launch, and still never failed to disappoint, especially the camrera. The video remains remarkable. Battery sucks indeed but with powervanks at hand, it still is fighting.
old phone. Slow, storage is bad, battery is terrible. It works okay tho i guess
