The latest budget entry in Samsung’s camp is the brand-new Galaxy M14 5G. The phone was introduced in Ukraine and shares its core specs and design with the Galaxy A14 5G which launched back in January. One of the key additions to the M-series model is an even larger 6,000mAh battery.
Galaxy M14 5G brings a 6.6-inch PLS LCD with Full HD+ resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate. The phone sports a 13MP selfie camera housed in a waterdrop notch. The back houses a 50MP main camera with an f/1.8 aperture and autofocus. It can record up to 1080p at 30fps. The auxiliary modules include a 2MP macro cam and a depth sensor.
Samsung went with its in-house Exynos 1330 chipset and paired it with 4GB RAM. The phone comes in 64GB and 128GB storage options and support for storage expansion via the onboard MicroSD slot. The software side is covered by One UI 5 on top of Android 13 while the 6,000 mAh battery charges over USB 2.0 Type-C port at 15W speeds. Other notable features include sub-6GHz 5G support, a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and a headphone jack.
Samsung Galaxy M14 5G comes in Navy Blue, Light Blue and Silver colors. Pricing in Ukraine is set at UAH 8,299 ($222) for the 4/64GB model and UAH 8,999 ($241) for the 4/128GB model. We can expect Samsung to launch the phone in more countries in the coming weeks.
