T-Mobile has started pushing out a new update to Samsung Galaxy J7 units on its network. The update brings along Android Nougat OS version 7.1.1. In addition, it also includes monthly security updates.
It's worth mentioning that the carrier's support page contains contradictory information - at one point its says the update includes Android 7.0, while at other it mentions Android 7.0.1. Even Android 6.0.1 is mentioned in one section.
However, in reality, it's the Android 7.1.1 update that's rolling out - even a T-Mobile support thread (initiated by a Samsung Galaxy J7 user) confirms this. You can access the thread by heading here.
