Samsung introduced the Galaxy Book4 Edge laptop last month as part of a new series of personal computers with Copilot+ assistant. The device was announced with Galaxy AI as one of the first Snapdragon X Elite-powered laptops, but pricing remained a mystery until now.
The Book4 Edge is is now up for sale, starting at $1,350 in the US and €1,700 in Europe.
Samsung is offering the laptop in two sizes – 14" and 16"—and some markets have the choice between Snapdragon X Elite at 3.4 GHz (X1E-80-100) or at 3.8 GHz (X1E-84-100). It comes with Windows 11 Home pre-installed, and the only color option is Sapphire Blue.
Samsung offers the 14" version with 512 GB storage for $1,350 or €1,700, while the 16" is $1,450/€1,800. Upgraging to the more powerful chip version and 1TB storage makes the price jump to $1,750/€2,100.
Samsung trade-ins can help you lower the price by up to $500/€650. Users in the United States can trade an older laptop, while European customers can only hand back a phone, tablet, or a smartwatch.
IM Starting to regret dropping mad $$$$$$$$$ on Apple devices.....the company has changed so much in recent years..... very discriminating....
If you need AI that badly, don't know why, Zen 5 is just around the corner. And you will be able to get a 32GB RAM machine for a reasonable price.
That's not their biggest problems.4 x86 laptops are half the price and offer similar performance and battery life with better graphics performance.
