Great phone which Ive been using since 2018. Since around July 2022 however, I'm not able to access the 4G network at all in big cities. My mobile data only works in small towns.
My phone company told me that the network mode of my Galaxy A8 is only LTE/3G/2G, which means that I should have never expected 4G network on it unfortunately. Quite disappointing

Best phone I could hope for 100€ refurbished battery hold the whole day doing my things, IP68 camera seems good enough to me, but I have a real camera for serious pictures so idk.
Fluid while I browse threw apps, need more phone this way but hey manufacturers they need you to spit the money right ?

Have this phone for 5 years now going strong. Only started seeing a transparent screen in the background which not sure why that happens. Any suggestions how to remove it?

I have had this phone since 2018 and it has always been great. Yes, I would like the newer features, but it has better battery than most, excellent camera, and I haven't needed to upgrade for 5 years. That is a first for me. I will be looking for a new phone soon, but only because I need more capacity.

The battery sucks so bad and the internal storage... morefirst of all, this phone is from 2018, so you shouldn't expect much in terms of storage. I actually own the A530W Galaxy A8, Which is one of them, (A530F and A530N etc.) but I have found that it performs very well. Especially after rooting, and for a phone that costs like $125, its amazing.

When you write down your opinion, I believe that you do not get a brand new of this phone. You may get this in the worst condition from the seller and I believe that it is not new. I am so sorry for that.

Worst phone ever believe me everyone it is!! The battery sucks so bad and the internal storage isn't great whatsoever! And the camera sucks so I switched my phone to samsung galaxy a13 5g and believe me when. I say this....the battery on the a13 5g is by far the best than what the a8 is

Still Reliable to this day as hand me down phone. Wish it was 64gb version though. its the only gripe i have now about owning this phone. nevertheless its awesome rock solid. using it outdoor and stuff. never let me down unlike my xiaomi device. software update bricked the camera and audio. remember, if aint broke dont fix it. one of benefits not having updates

True the battery has decreased it's high peak, and there has always been a problem with the mic, but still love it. I've been trying to find a replacement for the battery, but been having a problem finding a battery replacement in my country..

And more, it has a complete package, name it: the jack, the dual simcard + microSD, the notif light, the side speaker that is better than the below speaker, the IP rating, etc and the last not least, the dual front camera

I bought this back in 2018. The headphone jack port is now dead and the power button fell off 2 times. The battery is still working as fine as ever. It has served me well. But now it is time to say goodbye.

I agree with you! I love too my A8, but it is time to say goodbie to him now.
