How's the battery life working for you guys? Mine lasts 5-6 hours easily with heavy usage excluding gaming.

As of April 2025 I still use it without any problems... even todays phones lack a selfie cam like this

Great camera a... moremine is heating up lots, and lags a whole lot, and sometimes even just randomly shuts off while using it or when it gets plugged in once i pu in a charger at 47% and phone shut off and said it actually had 3%, while playing any games and sometimes while watching videos it just heats up and kinda burns so i cant ouch it for longer than a second, and battery is dying rlly quickly, most likely my battery is going to crap

Mine also had a white vertical line that popped out of nowhere and it eventually increased in number and was too bothersome since the white light was painful to look at

I have this phone since September 2020 and it works like a beast till today.
Great camera and does not lag. I cannot find a reason to switch. I think it just does not have the latest AI features, but I doubt if I will ever use it.
I also think that people having the screen burn issue etc, have been using their phone 24/ 7 with the screen turned on for video playback or maybe uber drivers using the phone all day with the screen turned on for navigation etc, so that is fair enough, if you use it extensively the screen will have to die eventually.
I think having the phone used for 6 hours a day might be fair enough allowing the phone to last long. Cheers !!

Anonymous, 24 Jan 2025Did anyone have screen burn in issues with galaxy a71I haven't, and I used it so much on tiktok and other apps that can cause burn in. I have had it from 2019 when it launched and it worked well until 2024.

Even while charging or on display mode. It's a hardware issue so do not spend time to rectify. I paid @8k at Samsung service center and they repaired like new one with genuine original spare part. Now it is like and working as usual. Go ahead with repair at Samsung service center if money is not bar, else local repairs will offer cheap replacement lcd rather than original Amoled Display.
