Unfortunately, the A54 has lost its spot as top contender in Value for Money category. 36000 INR price is approx. $450. I like polished One UI, Samsung ecosystem, longer software support, & solid camera in A series but average processor & absence of wireless charging is for this price point are dealbreakers to me. Now I want to consider buying S21 FE for the same price instead of A54.

They have ... moreThe storage capacity is similar, yes. But the type is UFS 3.1 vs UFS 2.1 used in A52s. The camera get a downgraded MP, but the sensor type, pixel and micron size is better. Also Galaxy A54 has a better Bluetooth version (5.3), brighter screen, bigger battery, adaptive refresh rate, and eSIM. I mean, the glass on the rear panel alone is worth mentioning over the so-called "glasstic" design on A52s.
Yes, it may be a bit overpriced for all the "minor upgrades" it provides, but Galaxy A54 is not entirely a bad phone. I have a mint variant A52s and I'm planning to switch to this phone.

They have the same screen, storage, ram and cameras while the A52s has a better processor, a headphone jack and is like $200 cheaper
The A54 wins with having a 19.5:9 aspect ratio and better built quality with a glass back but does that justify the inflated price? Absolutely not
Idk where they're going with the A series because so far it's been disappointment after disappointment

Anonymous, 16 Mar 2023Largely disappointing release unfortunately; how do you make something with a screen smaller t... moreI don't think that 0.1 inch matters much and a glass back is much preferable IMO because people are going to put a case on it in the end so no, it's protected from damage. 782G is basically an overclocked version of 778G, featuring the same CPU cores and GPU cores as the Exynos 1380. So from my POV, I don't think it's bad to use Exynos 1380.

Anonymous, 16 Mar 2023its actually an imx 766 sensor, they actually did add that It could be an Isocell GN5 too, which is used in S22 and S23 series.

So ... moreNote that there are noticeable forehead and chin bezels, indicating there are display connectors there, meaning space is being taken in. Samsung managed to trin their chin bezels but at the cost of the headphone jack. Or maybe it was about price/manufacturing costs. They were expensive to make than to sell.

If your A52s is great, stop complaining about the A54.
Prices will go down in fee weeks guys. Like all Samsung phones do. Also with cashbacks or other promotions.

Even if I have a52s (almost 1.5 year old and after screen + baterry replacement), I will replace it with a54, maybe in 1 or 2 months. When the price will be around 350-380USD (with Samsung's cash back etc.).
