Exynos still faster and in ISP Exynos won most of the areas.Absolutely not. For example the AI compute power of the 2021 SD 778G is 12 TOPS vs Exynos 1380's 4.9TOPS. This means 2021 SD 778G is 2.5x faster over the Exynos 1380.
The only area Exynos 1380 made a parity with SD 778G is in CPU core performance because Exynos 1380 also started using 4x A78 cores and similar clocks of SD 778G. In all other areas of the chip performance and capabilities be it GPU, ISP, AI Engine etc 2021 SD 778G still edges out Exynos 1380 easily.

AnonD-1090716, 13 Apr 2023overall is a win. Better CPU, ISP, GPU (If is optimized), support and efficiency. Overall a fail because A54 hardly matching 2 year old phone and still costs hefty premium for yesterdays performance and still trails in many vital aspects.

Everything appear pale and life less in the A54. The A73 powered by SD 778G camera output is alive with realistic colors, dynamic ranges, details in the dark etc is clearly superior.

The A54 is an upgrade and isn't the best of Samsung with excellent Exynos processors.

The software, ISP, support is an upgrade, the A54 isn't a bad phone but is overpriced, but doesn't mean its bad, when the time passes it will be cheaper and more recommended.
I've been commenting this in my S8 and Galaxy S20 Ultra and sometimes the S6 edge plus that I use as my SECOND-HAND DEVICE.

In ISP it isn't inferior, as well the efficiency.

TechGeek132, 12 Apr 2023Well, the Exynos 1380 does have a decent ISP, although idk if it's better than the 778G'sOf course it isn't. Snapdragon 778G is faster, cooler, and more power efficient. It's NOT prone to overheating and throttling like Exynos.
