Okay so I got the beta update. To be honest, it runs well if you ignore the usual beta jitters. There are a few bugs but it's safe enough to run on your main device. Back animation is working in settings, new notif bar is fine. I do notice that features like auto fps manual selection and camera speed are missing, but maybe that's just for your flagships?
If you experience stutters with the phone do this
~Turn off Ram Plus
~Download Good Guardians and Galaxy App Booster from Galaxy Store or search the APK if it's unavailable in your country, then open Galaxy App Booster and click on Optimize Now
And voila! Goodbye stutters, this isn't a gimmick, actually Ram Plus uses storage that's much slower and this in fact, made the S22 series laggy at launch compared to other flagships, and Galaxy App Booster compiles DEX files to the apps making it faster (you can also do this with ADB but it's slower since you need to put every app package name)
Frederick Alexander, 26 Sep 2023This phone is good and best if u are not gamer I recommend buy this phoneEven if it isn't gamer it can handle any game of the play store perfectly (although not at the highest settings in heavy games) but anyways, why would you want to play a game in the highest settings when it will drain the battery quickly using any phone

Got the September security patch, no new features as always
For those that thought that this device wouldn't handle 4 years of updates, my A53 just turned 1.5 years old and it run smoothly (probably more than at start) with 8 hours SOT without any problems

Anonymous, 03 Sep 2023Is the Exynos 1280 really that bad? I'm planning on buying this soon as this is in my budget. Why you want to take 1.5yrs old model. you can go for A54. if you are okay with Exynos processor mobile.
Anonymous, 04 Sep 2023Not really, it was at launch that wasn't optimized where it lagged like a snapdragon 680,... moreThe problem I see is that most people that is hating the A53 don't have even tried or they tried at launch while it was uncomfortable laggy, for most people seeing it's using Exynos is like:
"Oh, it's Exynos, the last Exynos I used was the Exynos 7904 which was used in low end phones and was laggy so I expect that this will be the same, I literally haven't tried this phone but because it's an Exynos I expect to overheat, definitely a massive downgrade from A52s"
Even if the only think that's a downgrade is the chipset and everything else is the same or better on the A53
AnonD-1068472, 02 Sep 2023Anyone who got the 1.3 GB August update, how is the update? Any changes related to battery and... moreNah, seems the same to me
It's really grown on me in the 7 months I've had it. At first I kept looking at other phones on Facebook and online but after a few months that stopped and I now look upon it favourably. The battery is big and lasts two days, the screen is big and long so it's good for reading Korean manga on Tapas, mine has 6GB of ram and 128GB of storage neither of which ever fill up. My storage is usually at 60% full and my ram is also usually at 60%.
I also use Nova Launcher. 9/10
