Samsung Android Firmware Updates

Samsung is out with a new update today, and this one is headed to both the Galaxy A51 and the Galaxy A71. These are probably the company's best selling devices, in that order, so it makes sense that it would take care of them on the software front.

And taking care of them it is. Samsung is pushing features like Single take, My filters, and Night hyperlapse to these two handsets, features previously spotted on flagships. Of course the cameras on the A51 and A71 are nowhere near flagship level, but some people may find these new features useful even so.

You also get Quick Share and Music Share, while the keyboard and Gallery apps are being updated too. You can translate text directly from the keyboard tray, as well as undo/redo the most recent action with a two finger left or right swipe on the keyboard. In Gallery, Clean View groups up to 100 consecutively shot images into a bundle, and Quick Crop does what it says on the tin when you're zoomed into an image.

Additionally, you can expect the overall system stability to be improved, and the same goes for security. Of course the usual bug fixes are in too. The update comes with build A515FXXU3BTF4 for the A51, and A715FXXU2ATG1 for the A71, although there may be regional variations between build strings.

This cant be bestselling if Huawei skipped over Samsung 3 months ago and dethroned it. Anyway the Moto G 5G plus will be the best selling midranger with its specs price and 5G support. Same will go for Xiaomi 8 and 9 series.

Gotta admit, it's nice to see Sammy actually supporting their mid rangers, though I would have liked to see at least these two phones get Dex mode, since the hardware is more than capable. Actually it's almost disgusting how the S10 and Not...
