I have been using Samsung A50 6GB variant and I must say it has an excellent durability. Even after 7years of use, the phone is still in perfect working condition. No issues observed apart from the battery capacity has reduced to 6-7hours with medium usage. The security updates from Samsung have stopped in January 2024.

Mine works still fine even after 5 years lol. Fingerprint sensor got better after the last update.

jan, 13 Aug 2024Definitively still relevant in 2024, significantly faster and slimier than similarly priced 20... moreI agreed 100% until two days ago when it started restarting randomly and getting stuck on the boot screen. Soft reset followed by clearing the cache partition got it to reboot for about 24 hours, now I can't do anything with it. Sad way to go out after 5 years

Phonick, 28 Jul 2024It is not clear to me how this mobile phone can only be upgraded to Android 11.A12 and similar... moreits GNUSMAS, they dropped even the security updates earlier as promised. The same phone, but branded A51, kept updated.

Definitively still relevant in 2024, significantly faster and slimier than similarly priced 2023/4 models like barely usable Samsung A14.
