Samsung launched the Galaxy A37 back in March, and we've already heard that its successor will keep the same camera setup. Today, a new report from the same source claims the Galaxy A38 will get an upgrade over its predecessor after all, but in a different area: the battery capacity.
The Galaxy A38 will allegedly have a battery with a rated capacity of 5,882 mAh, which should mean a typical capacity of 6,000 mAh. That's 20% more than the 5,000 mAh battery in the A37. It would also reportedly be the biggest battery ever in a Galaxy A phone sold in Europe. It isn't expected to be a silicon-carbon battery, though.

Other than that, the A38 is shaping up to be a minor update. It's rumored to have a 50MP main camera, an 8MP ultrawide, a 5MP macro camera, and a 12MP selfie camera. That would make it the third model in a row with this exact setup, after the Galaxy A36 and the A37.
It's still unclear whether the Galaxy A58 will get the same battery upgrade. It's quite likely, and it wouldn't be surprising if Samsung used the exact same cell in both phones, but that hasn't been confirmed yet. The two are expected to launch together sometime in March or April.
Unfortunately, prices will probably keep going up. The Galaxy A36 started at €379 in Europe, and the A37 launched at €429 before its recommended price was seemingly raised to €469. So the A38 could end up even closer to €500.
