today got One UI 7 update in India. Hope it should be in good shape and solve hanging and heating problems.

Still waiting for One UI 7 update - hope it would be better then current OS.
Now heavy Samsung UI sometimes slower then much cheaper Snapdragon 685 on Honor x7c. But One UI has some cool features as more battery care options than vanilla android, especially the ability to disable fast charge.
Nevertheless, this phone was unbeatable in it's price range in terms of IP67 rating and OIS.

Phone behaves weird when you use under day light in sunny day and under direct light in dark night. Is this observes by anyone. I strongly believe this is due to virtual proximity sensor. I never felt like this with any other phone in my entire life with mobiles

Avoid this phone at all cost - All A line Glaxy phones.
Freezing issues, Auto updates the Samsung and Google App, even when switched off. Auto updates and kills the 128gig memory. After the last update it is to update app in google play can take over an hour. With Youtube and tiktok randomly closes the apps while watching. Phone Glitches/ Screen glitches and randomly opens all you app. On the games front, it will stuter or play extremely slow, and Battery life is below average. Fast charging is the only plus point i can really mention. Also it does not come with a music or video player so you have to get from the app store with ads.
Look at a Xiaomi or Honor for a better alternative or if you have the extra cash get a Galaxy S.

If you have any software update, I find a complete shutdown(not just reboot) of the phone then start seems to avoid this problem.
