Does anyone know why the A25 drains battery in the background at night without using it and without mobile data on? I'm having that problem. 😔

i recently buy this a25 all looks great but with problem stable wifi connection still its best phone between a35 or a15

Those considering this phone,just go ahead and buy it. It's very complete,those who say the battery drains quick are probably on high power-consuming apps. It's a daily driver but the camera is not that good but usable.

Pressing the on off button to turn off the... moreYou can change that from settings / Advanced functions / function button / long press (and there you change and select the shutdown menu and with that the old shutdown system returns. Last Samsung updates (june 25) are not good at all. Pressing the on off button to turn off the telephone, Google Assistant appears. Could not turn it off. I had to press down volume+onoff button. Lay out is bad. This was an un improvements update.

Bought due to unannounced built in call recording (legal in Israel), 5 year warranty, 3.5mm jack and SD card slot. On paper this should be a very reasonable daily driver, however battery life is very disappointing, the phone tends to heat and its performance is subpar (even though I've uninstalled some bloatware).
Also the software is not flawless. For instance, some SecureFolder apps are not sandboxed properly: even when the folder is off and should be invisible, mail notifications from a Gmail account inside it still arrive...
I wouldn't like a Chinese brand nor an iPhone but probably will have to think about something other than Samsung next time.

I got the One UI 7 update in the UK yesterday. The phone is running smoother and there are no problems with excessive battery drain or overheating. The phone now has Circle to Search, the Now Bar and some improved camera and photo and video editing features. There are some changes which will take some getting used to, such as vertical apps, but I have no real problems with the update. One disappointing thing is that the phone still isn't compatible with Good Lock, but there are ways round that

Galaxy A25 5G (SM-A256N), South Korean variant, updated to OneUI 7 few days ago. Only bugs I experience is a custom keyboard app I'm using is not vibrating when tapping, even if it's turned on. Samsung keyboard vibration works fine, though.

I personally use the A25 for over a year now. Its not a bad phone, but thermals and battery life could've been better. But speakers are good, especially once you adjust its EQ. Everything else is OK.
I picked this one because—availability aside—it was the most complete, and had the longest software support of five years.
These days however, it is much too expensive for what it offers. And then they messed up that one chance to redeem themselves with the A26.
Until they genuinely open their eyes—and ears—this may be my last and only Samsung smartphone.

I've only had my new samsung galaxy A25 android phone for a few days and I've noticed several things that I'm not very fond of. At least to me it seems to be overly heavy when compared to my previous phone ( LG Velvet 5G ), when trying to utilize the phone keyboard to type more times than not the desired character isn't displayed but the one on either side of it. So far these are my most serious complaints and hopefully as time goes on I won't discover any more.

Well this phone is not bad for its price, good camera great display with 120hz, they only part that i only dont like is exynos Chipset, it's strong for what it is but exynos chipsets have heat problem, overall good for its price.
